What are Web3 Packs?

Web3 Packs are curated bundles of various digital assets including ERC-20 tokens, NFTs, LP tokens, and interest-bearing assets, all purchasable in a single transaction for easy access to diverse token ecosystems.

These packs leverage the Charged Particles protocol to create NFT Smart Wallets that can hold multiple types of tokens. Users can buy these packs, which include pre-selected tokens and assets, simplifying the process of entering new DeFi ecosystems.

Specific Packs

• DeFi Packs: include liquidity pool (LP) tokens from an ecosystem, such as MODE<>ETH, MODE<>USDC, MODE<>IONX, USDC<>USDT, etc, and allowing users to participate in DeFi protocols with ease

• Governance Packs: will include tokens that provide voting power within the MODE ecosystem, enabling users to participate in governance decisions. Details on specific contents will be announced later.

• Ecosystem Packs: These feature a selection of ERC-20 tokens from projects within the MODE ecosystem, along with commemorative NFTs, offering users broad exposure to various ecosystem projects.

Usage and Benefits

You can purchase Web3 Packs directly from our website using ETH. Simply select the pack you want, connect your wallet, and complete the transaction.

Web3 Packs simplify the onboarding process into new ecosystems by bundling multiple assets into a single transaction. This saves time, reduces gas fees, and provides a straightforward way to diversify your holdings.

While the initial packs are curated, future updates may allow for customization options where users can select specific assets to include in their packs.

Mode Season 2

Users can earn points multipliers by purchasing and locking Web3 Packs. Points contribute to MODE Season 2 eligibility. The more packs you buy and the longer you lock them, the more points you can earn. Leanr more about Mode's season 2 points campaign here

Security and Management

Web3 Packs utilize the battle-tested and audited infrastructure of the Charged Particles protocol, ensuring your assets are safely stored within NFT Smart Wallets. Your packs are tradable and transferable, fully non custodial, allowing you to move them between wallets or trade them on supported marketplaces. Only the owner of the pack may initiate the unpack or send commands.

During the checkout flow for purchasing a Web3 Pack, you can use the time-lock feature to lock the tokens inside the pack for a specified period, earning greater points multipliers based on the lock duration. You can also lock your pack in the my packs view if you decide you want to a later time after purchasing. Once time-locked you will not be able to remove any of the tokens in the pack from the pack until the time-locking date has been reached. You will however be able to send that pack or even list it, and in the future borrow against it.

Technical Questions

We are compatible with any wallet that supports ERC-721 NFTs, including popular wallets like MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and Coinbase Wallet.

Web3 Packs will support assets on the Mode Network. Future expansions may include other blockchain networks.

Transaction fees, or gas fees, are paid by the user at the time of purchase. The bundling process of Web3 Packs is designed to minimize these fees by reducing the number of individual transactions needed.
